Not much has happened in the last week besides school but I have indulged in some of France’s finest. Today I had French Onion soup or Soupe Gratinee a l’oignon! It was a nice large piece of bread soaked in broth with heaps of onions and an inch of cheese on top. MMM! It was perfect for the nice 60 degree day we had. After lunch I stopped at a patisserie and indulged in a tarte citron. A beautiful buttery tart shell with an intense creamy lemon filling topped with little berries and a candied lemon slice. It was heaven in my mouth. Although I’m loving the delicacies of France I can;t wait to get back home to cook for myself!
